Faculty/Staff Awards Program
Faculty Awards
All College of Agriculture faculty are eligible for the following awards:
- College of Agriculture Project Team Award
- Dean’s Award for Advising Excellence
- Dean's Award for Excellence in Extension and Outreach
- Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence
- Dean’s Grantsmanship Award
- The Guthrie Award for Achievement in International Agriculture
- High Impact Paper of the Year Award
- AAES Director’s Research Awards (1 Jr., 1 Sr.)
The Director’s Award for Research has two categories:
--the Director’s Research Award for Junior Faculty and
--the Director’s Research Award for Senior Faculty.
All assistant professors and associate professors who have been at Auburn for eight years or less are eligible for the Director's Research Award for Junior Faculty, while associate professors who have been at Auburn for more than eight years and all full professors are eligible for the Director's Research Award for Senior Faculty. Recipients will be awarded $2,000 and a plaque.
Employee Awards
- Outstanding Commitment to Diversity Award
- Employee of the Year Awards
All administrative/professional, staff and faculty of the College of Agriculture are eligible for this award. Recipient will be awarded $1000 and a certificate.
Nominations for the Diversity Award will be reviewed and decisions made by the Awards Committee comprised of members of the College of Agriculture Diversity Committee.
All administrative/professional and staff employees of the College of Agriculture and the AAES outlying units are eligible for the Employee of the Year Award. Recipients will be awarded $1000 and a certificate.
Nominations will be reviewed and decisions made by the Awards Committee.
Due Date for 2014 Awards
All nominations are due to Sandy Krietemeyer in the dean’s office by close of business Monday, November 3, 2014.
Announcement of Award Recipients
Winners will be announced at the annual awards reception, set for Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, at 3 p.m.
