Changing Majors
To change your major at Auburn University you must follow one of the following processes:
To change to a major outside the College of Agriculture other than to the College of Business:
- You need to make sure that you meet all requirements, including GPA, to enter the major or college to which you want to change.
- You need to pick up your academic records from the College of Agriculture Student Services Office in 103 Comer Hall. At this time a form will be issued for you to change your major.
- You will then take your records and this form to the dean’s office of the college in which your new major is located.
To change to the College of Business:
- You must fill out an application to change to the College of Business. You will find this application in 023 Lowder Business Building.
- You will receive an email stating that you are eligible to transfer to the College of Business, if you meet their requirements.
- You will then follow steps two and three above.
To change your major within the College of Agriculture:
You will need to come to the College of Agriculture Student Services Office in 103 Comer Hall and fill out a change of major form. You will receive a new curriculum sheet with the courses you have completed marked off.
To change your major into the College of Agriculture:
- You must pick up your academic records from your current Dean’s office, as well as a change of major form.
- You will then bring these records to the College of Agriculture Student Services Office in 103 Comer Hall and the change of major form will be completed for you.
