Dean’s List

The name of every eligible student who meets certain scholastic requirements for a given semester is placed on a list prepared for the dean of the student’s college or school. This honor is also noted in the student’s permanent record.

To meet Auburn University’s requirements for inclusion on the dean’s list, the student must be enrolled for 12 credit hours exclusive of any S/U option courses, pass all courses attempted for the semester, have no D or XD grades that term, and earn a grade-point average of at least 3.75. All grades, including those excluded by the grade adjustment/course repeat policy, are used for determining academic honors.
