High-Schoolers Can Explore Ag, Forestry Majors at AU

AUBURN, Ala. — High school sophomores and juniors are invited to make tracks to Auburn University this summer for a one-day program that will let them explore possible majors in agriculture, forestry and wildlife sciences.

The program, “Choose Your Adventure,” will be held Thursday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Auburn campus. Participants will have the opportunity to select from among five different tracks of study that would prepare them for careers in fields ranging from veterinary medicine to production agriculture to forest engineering.

July 12 is the deadline for reserving a spot in the program, which is cosponsored by AU’s College of Agriculture and School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences. The registration fee of $20 includes lunch.
