Purpose

The purpose of the meeting is to share information on water resource conservation issues and encourage interaction between society members of the various sections.  The tri-state water wars and many other regional water issues look for greater interaction between conservation professionals.  Topics will include agricultural and urban water conservation efforts, water resource management and planning efforts, impacts of water storage and minimum base flow, water quality impacts, storm water runoff and erosion and sediment control, effects of water management on wildlife and marine/aquatic life, aquaculture and fisheries.

Audience/Participants

The conference is designed for professionals, foresters, local developers, builders, contractors, local government officials, and environmentalists to encourage networking.

Benefits

Participants can travel freely around the exhibit area and view the exhibits, network with regional professional, and contribute to the success of several conservation efforts, in a relaxing environment and location.

About Quincy

This location is the ideal location.  Quincy is a city in Gadsden County, Florida.  The community was named for John Quincy Adams.  Just off I-10, 15 minutes west of Tallahassee, it offers easy access to participants from all three states.

Conference Format

Vendors will be assigned an indoor table top booth. 
Thursday, May 17: Pre-conference Workshops, Opening Reception, poster session (Morning Set-up). 
Friday, May 18: Plenary Session and Presentations, Banquet (Afternoon Breakdown).
Saturday, May 19: State meetings, tours

Registration

Cost for Vendors is $250.  Registration will include admission for one attendee.  Cost for GOLD Sponsors is $500.  GOLD sponsors will be listed in the program and can be associated with a specific event such as a meal or social.  Registration is limited due to the Number of Spaces Available and MUST BE RECEIVED by May 1, 2007.
