This course provides a framework for natural resource professionals to examine river systems within a landscape ecology and ecosystem management context. It focuses on on historical fisheries, riverine fauna, ecological theory regarding system function, assessment tools, and management and restoration techiques of multiple-use riverine ecosystems.
