Coordinated by the Art in Agriculture Committee, this event will bring together people from across campus and Lee County who are working to solve issues of hunger and food security in our local community and beyond for a community conversation and soup dinner served in bowls made by the Auburn University Department of Art faculty and students. Bowls can be purchased for a donation (suggested amount $20) to the Food Bank of East Alabama.

The program will feature comments from 2009 World Food Prize winner Gebisa Ejeta, who will present the Fall 2011 York Distinguished Lecturer program at 7 p.m. on November 3 at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.
