Grading will be on a 10-point scale and will be based on your accumulated percentage of the total points possible according to the following distribution: | |

| The grade is determined by adding all points earned from exams, quizzes and
exercises and dividing by the total points possible. There will be
approx. 700 (±) total points depending on the exercises and quizzes that are done.
Hour exams will cover new material given since the previous hour exam. The tentative schedule for exams is
A zero will be recorded for any quiz or exam that is missed without a University-approved excuse as outlined in the Tiger Cub. Students who miss an exam because of illness need a doctor's statement for verification of sickness and should clear the absence with the instructor the day they return to class. No make-up quizzes will be given. Any exam, quiz or assignment deadline missed because of an approved activity must be cleared with the instructor prior to the scheduled event. In all cases, students will be responsible for material presented and/or assigned in the course. If scaling of grades is appropriate, adjustments will be made at the discretion of the instructor. | ||
