Cherokee County Cotton Variety Test

Row Length:               1410 feet in long rows

                                    930 feet in short rows

 

Plot Design:                Strip trial the length of the field with FM 989 Bt/RR used as a check variety between each variety. Eight rows of each variety were planted and all check plots were also eight rows.

 

Cultural Practices:            Area was planted no-till. All varieties were sprayed with Roundup Ultra according to label directions.

 

Harvest:                     Check plot yields were similar and no yield adjustment for field variability was needed.
