Parent Council

The College of Agriculture's Parent Council provides ongoing communication between the college and parents of current students by promoting parental involvement in and support of the college.

History

The College of Agriculture Parent Council was initiated during Camp War Eagle sessions in the summer of 2007.

Vision

The College of Agriculture Parent Council is a networked community of parents who have two things in common, they have children attending Auburn and majoring in agriculture plus they care about the college - its heritage, family culture and future. Membership in the Parent Council will be an important opportunity for parents to strengthen their connection and commitment to strengthening the College of Agriculture.

Mission

• The mission of the College of Agriculture Parent Council is to foster and strengthen the relationship between the College of Agriculture and parents of students; to preserve and promote the College's traditions, purposes, growth and programs; and to ignite the family atmosphere and reverence for the college.
