Discretionary Funding for Research Travel Support Program

Purpose: The Travel Support Program provides assistance to faculty for presentations of scientific discoveries at conferences/meetings. Award decisions are made by Athur Appel, Interim Associate Dean for Research/AAES Assistant Director.
Eligibility: All faculty members in the College of Agriculture
Award: Due to a limited pool of funds, the dollar limit is $750 per request. Upon approval or disapproval, an e-mail response will be sent to the applicant and copied to the applicant's department/chair and the COAg Business Office.
Application: Please submit an application form that will be routed by e-mail to Athur Appel, Interim Associate Dean for Research/AAES Assistant Director (appelag@auburn.edu), your associate dean or department head/chair and Simon Snyder (snydesm@auburn.edu), COAg Business Office.
Deadline: Requests can be made at any time during the year.
Payment Procedures: Your department is responsible for preparing the reimbursement request and routing it through the COAg Business Office, 110 Comer Hall. For questions related to your reimbursement, please contact Simon Snyder at 844-2344 or snydesm@auburn.edu.
