"After researching several agricultural schools, Auburn's Poultry Science Department stood out among no others. It is a veryprestigious department that I have loved being a part of. One of the most comforting things about getting a poultry science degree from Auburn is the near certainty that I will have multiple job offers approaching graduation. This means a lot with the current economy and toughness to get a job today. Auburn's Poultry Department is flooded with dedicated professors that are passionate about research for the future of the poultry industry and the students they are preparing to send into the industry with a promising career. I believe in Auburn Poultry Science and love it."

"I chose Poultry Science for my major because poultry is the largest industry in Alabama. I plan on working for a company either in food safety or product development. I love the fact that everyone in the Department really knows your name. As a freshman I was terrified because I didn't know anyone at Auburn but after my first week I felt at home."
