Pre-Veterinary Science

Our Poultry Science Pre-Vet option allows students the opportunity to take courses that will prepare them for veterinary school, other health profession programs, and graduate school.  This is a heavily science-based curriculum with a strong emphasis in pre-professional program preparedness.

An important part of this track is that students can not only enter into veterinary school with this option but they also have a degree in Poultry Science—this provides students with great opportunities for a variety of careers. In 2009 we had 100% admittance rate for our students applying to Veterinary School at Auburn.
