Davis, graduate student of Dr.
Pat Curtis, was recognized at the 22nd Annual Auburn University
Minority Recognition Reception held April 23.
Each year the Office
of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs honors outstanding minority
(African-, Asian-, Latino-, and Native-American) students who
have excelled in leadership, academic studies, service to others
and and improved human realtions on campus.
Davis was nominated
by Dr. Bill Hardy, Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture.
Selection was based upon GPA, research affiliation, awards,
leadership skills, and ability to work with others. Dr. Hardy
presented the award to Davis at the reception.
