Welcome to the College of Agriculture!The Office of International Agriculture is pleased that you are visiting our part of Auburn University. Whether you are here to lecture, for training, for research collaboration, or for a degree program we will do all we can to make your stay pleasant and productive. Hartsfield International Airport (ATL) in Atlanta, GA, is approximately 100 miles from campus. The Columbus, GA, airport is 40 miles from campus; Birmingham 130 miles. Neither is as accessible as the Atlanta airport. Express 85 offers regular shuttle service for the 100 minute trip from the Atlanta Airport (Phone: 888.238.7738). Vans run five daily round trips between the airport and campus. Rental cars are available at the airport. Across the street from the university is the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center (241 S. College St.; 334-821-8200 or 800-2-AUBURN). Also across the street is the inexpensive Heart of Auburn Days Inn (334-887-3462 or 800-843-5634). The Crenshaw Guest House (371 N. College St.; 334-821-1131) offers suites at a moderate rate and a carriage house in the garden. One mile away is the Quality Inn University Center (1577 S. College St.; 334-821-7001). Students can find a wealth of local information about housing and other aspects of living in Auburn at the AU Student Services web site. The Office of International Education has specific information for International Visitors. If you are visiting the College of Agriculture and have visa questions, contact Mr. Billy Earle at 334.844.9210. Driving Instructions: From I-85 (which runs from Atlanta, GA, to Montgomery, AL), take Exit 51 onto U.S. Rte. 29 N. This becomes College St., which borders the campus. The campus is approximately 3 miles from I-85.
