COMMON NAME: Spring starflower
LEAVES: flat, 1/4 to 3/8" wide and 6 to 9" long, often pale green. Crushed leaves smell like garlic.
FLOWER: usually single, but sometimes double, 1" wide whitish star-shaped flower with a porcelain blue hue held on a 6" stem.
