LEAVES: rounded, pubescent leaves with one or two lobes at leaf base, 1" to 2" long, entire margin

FLOWER: heads 1" across, comprised of approximately 8 petals surrounding yellow disc flowers

SEASON OF BLOOM: late spring

GROWTH HABIT: 1' mat with erect flowers (shortest coreopsis)

SOIL: moist and well drained

SUN: full sun with some afternoon shade recommended

HARDINESS: zones 4-9

UTILIZATION: rock garden, border

DISEASES: leaf spot in our area; perhaps improved air circulation would help
