SCIENTIFIC NAME: Jasminum nudiflorum

COMMON NAME: winter jasmine

FLOWERS: Yellow trumpet shaped flowers in February.

LEAVES: Opposite pinnate compound leaf with 3 leaflets. Less than 1/2" long. Margins are revolute.

GROWTH HABIT: Grows 1' to 3' high and weeps over. Will root down and spread.

OTHER: Hardy from zone 6 to 10. Can use in mass plantings, on highway cuts, and in areas that need the soil stabilized. Needs pruning to keep it looking good. A member of the Oleaceae family.
