SCIENTIFIC NAME: Euonymus bungeanus (Eunonymus bungeana)

COMMON NAME: winterberry euonymus, winterberry spindle tree

FLOWERS: 1" to 2" white to yellowish cymes in spring. Not showy.

LEAVES: Opposite, elliptical and finely serrated.

GROWTH HABIT: A small tree that grows 20' to 30' tall.

OTHER: Hardy from zone 4 to 8. New twigs are green. Has red fruit that will produce many seedlings. Can get scale. Not a desirable ornamental landscape tree.
