COMMON NAME: oriental bittersweet

FLOWERS: In axillary cymes (yellowish white?).

LEAVES: Alternate and rounded with coarse serrations and a short petiole. Up to 3" long.

GROWTH HABIT: A vigorous vine.

OTHER: Hardy to zone 4. A vigorous vine that should be avoided. Is native to China, but has escaped into the wild. Has a red fruit in the fall. A member of the Celastraceae family.
