SCIENTIFIC NAME: Juniperus conferta

COMMON NAME: shore juniper

FLOWERS:

GROWTH HABIT: Grows from 6" to 18" tall and 3' to 5' wide. Has vigorous growth.

LEAVES: All juvenile foliage that is up to 1" long and light green. Has white lines underneath the leaf (stomates).

OTHER: Needs full sun and is drought tolerant. Cold hardy up to zone 6. Since the branches root down, this plant is also a good one to use on banks. Faster growing than Juniperus conferta 'Blue Pacific'.
