COMMON NAME: dwarf Burford holly

FLOWERS: Polygamo dioecious. Partially self fruitful. Every plant potentially can have fruit.

FRUIT: Smaller than Burford. Red.

GROWTH HABIT: Grows 6' tall (a lot smaller than Ilex cornuta 'Burfordii').

LEAVES: Has more single spines, smaller leaves, and darker foliage than Ilex cornuta 'Burfordii'. Up to 2" in length.

OTHER: Hardy to zone 7. Fruit is smaller than Ilex cornuta 'Burfordii'. Can be used as a foundation planting or screen. Tolerates sun or shade and is drought tolerant.
