FRUIT: Small red fruit that is not very showy.

GROWTH HABIT: Tree that grows 8' to 20' tall.

LEAVES: Alternate and narrow with 1 spine. Tapers to the base and widest above the middle. Light green color.

OTHER: Hardy to zone 7. Native to Alabama. Has small red fruit and a good looking gray trunk when limbed up. Drought tolerant. Used as a corner planting.
