FLOWERS: Dioecious.
FRUIT: Red. Large up to 1/4 inch and very showy. Birds love the fruit.
GROWTH HABIT: Grows 10' to 20' tall as a small tree.
LEAVES: Dark green with 1 to 3 scattered spines at the tip and a cuneate base. 3" to 4" long.
OTHER: Hardy to zone 6. Drought tolerant. Has big red fruit. Can be used as a corner planting, screen, or a small tree if limbed up.
