GROWTH HABIT: Grows 1' to 3' high and wide.

LEAVES: Falcate shaped. At times it may have brown spores under the leaves. Coarsely serrated to almost lobed margins. Dark green.

OTHER: Hardy to zone 8. Needs shade, moisture, humidity, and a well drained soil. Can be used like a groundcover. A member of the Polypodiaceae family. This species is a pteridophyte and therefore is not close kin to any other plant in this guide.
