COMMON NAME: bearberry cotoneaster

FLOWERS: White in spring. Less than one half inch long.

GROWTH HABIT: Ground cover that grows 2' to 3' high and 3' to 6' wide. Has a weeping form.

LEAVES: Elongated and less than 1" long and 1/2" wide.

OTHER: Hardy to zone 5. A good bank cover. Twigs look like fish bones. Prefers full sun. Needs pruning to keep looking good. Is very drought tolerant. A member of the Rosaceae family.
