All proceeds from this golf tournament support the Henry P. Orr Endowed Fund for Horticultural Excellence at Auburn University. This tournament as a tribute to Orr and generates funds for educational opportunities beyond the classroom for students in the Horticulture Department at Auburn University. Various levels of sponsorship are available ranging from $250 to play and up to $3,000 to sponsor the dinner. To date, $76,000 in funds has been raised by this tournament.
The 2009 Henry P. Orr Memorial Golf Classic will be held on November 12, 2009 at Farmlinks Golf Club on Pursell Farms in Fayetteville, AL.
All proceeds will benefit the Henry P. Orr Endowed Fund for Horticultural Excellence.
