Mission:
To address recreational and conservation issues on the Coosa River.
Specific Issues:
Supporting smaller river recreation organization.
Working to decrease the allowable amount of discharges granted to the Alabama Power Co. so as to make the area around the Jordan Dam safe for fish and wildlife as well as recreation.
Working with county commissions to increase public access areas to the Coosa River Annual Whitewater Festival in October of each year.
