Supplemental feed was added to two ponds containing largemouth bass-bluegill population in order that a study could be made of the effects of supplemental feedind on: (1) bluegill growth rate, sexual maturity, fecundity, reproduction, and survival: (2) the interrelationship or balance between the bluegill and bass: and (3) the production of bluegill in bass-bluegill populations. Supplement feed was not found to have an effect on bluegill growth rate, fecundity, reproduction, total production and balance of species in largemouth bass-bluegill populations. Supplemental feeding apparently had no effect on sexual maturity or survival of the originally stocked bluegill.
