Aquanic Aquaculture Network Information Center (AquaNIC) is intended to be a gateway to the world's electronic resources in aquaculture. AquaNIC is maintained at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and is supported by The Libraries of Purdue University, Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, United States Department of Agriculture Extension Service, and the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant Program.

World Aquaculture Society The World Aquaculture Society is an international organization with over 2500 members in 80 countries. The society promotes the educational, scientific and technological development of aquaculture throughout the world, gathers and disseminates aquaculture information and holds meetings to foster aquaculture development and information exchange.

PRAISE In fiscal year 1988, the Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture, located at Oceanic Institute, Waimanalo, HI established an Aquaculture Workstation operated and managed by the staff of the Science and Technology Dept. of Hamilton Library, University of Hawaii. The program that has evolved around this workstation has come to be called The PACIFIC REGIONAL AQUACULTURE INFORMATION SERVICE for EDUCATION (PRAISE), and was implemented under the USDA Regional Aquaculture Center Program.
