An aerial view of the "F," "E," "H," and "M" series ponds in 1950's.
Description: An aerial view of the "F," "E," "H," and "M" series ponds in 1950's. The area between the "F" series and the highway was operated by the Agronomy Department and Dr. Sturkie's bamboo plots were just beginning to grow. The wooded area in foreground was part of the API property but was operated by the Horticulture Department. The fire lanes had been cut in the woodland so that a small fee from the U.S. Department of
Agriculture could be collected.
