West Point
Reservoir (25,864 a) on the Chattahoochee River reached full

pool in Spring 1975. Fishery and limnological studies funded by the U. S. Army
Corps of Engineers began in February 1976 as a continuation of pre- and early
postimpoundment studies funded by the Fish and Wildlife Service, Auburn
University and the Bass Hesearch Foundation.
