Dear Applicant :

I am pleased to respond to your expressed interest in graduate studies at Auburn University. The graduate programs in Entomology and Plant Pathology offer a wide range of opportunities to study insects and other arthropods, as well as plant diseases and the fungi, bacteria, viruses, nematodes, and other pathogens that cause disease. Additionally, programs provide training in insect and plant disease management.

It is necessary that a member of the faculty in the Department agree to serve as your major advisor before you are admitted into our program. Therefore, I invite you to please identify a faculty member whose program is of potential interest to you and to contact that person for further information. Check the Guidelines for Graduate Students page for a listing of the faculty of the Department with their areas of interest.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss this initial step in your application, so you may contact me as well. I can be reached by email at wclark@acesag.auburn.edu or by telephone at 334-844-2565.

The following instructions will guide you through the applications process.

Send this to the Graduate Program Officer, Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, Auburn University, Auburn, AL 36849-5413.

  2. Please ask three individuals to provide letters of recommendation in support of your application. Print three (3) Letters of Recommendation Forms to be used in submitting these letters.
