Fishing Tournament

The 20-acre “VIP Pond” at the E.W. Shell Fisheries Center in north Auburn is the site of the fishing tournament on the morning of Thursday, May 3. Anglers can keep fish six pounds or larger and can have fish nine-plus pounds mounted. Prizes will be awarded for the largest stringer and the largest single fish in both bass and bream. Breakfast will be served prior to the tournament.
AU Fisheries S6 Pond: From I-85, take Exit 51. Drive north on Highway 29/College Street through Auburn. Cross Shug Jordan Parkway/University Drive and turn left onto County Road 72/Farmville Road. Travel 1 mile, and turn right onto Auburn Lakes Road. Pond S6 will be on your left.
