There will be a lecture outline passed out at the beginning of each class. It will contain the main topics to be covered during that lecture period. Keep these outlines and use as a guide for studying. There will be a short quiz every Friday at the beginning of class beginning on Week 2. The highest 10 scores out of the 14 quizzes will count toward your grade. There will be at least several guest lectures covering specific commodities or pest complexes. You will be responsible for material covered in guest lectures.

There will be no extra credit available. No make-up examinations will be available without a written excuse or appropriate documentation from your Dean. Make-up examinations may be either written (essay) and/or an oral defense as deemed appropriate by the instructor.
