Comments relative to the extension of SERA-IEG 20 were made. The group unanimously decided to change the name for the Southern Conservation Tillage Conference for Sustainable Agriculture to the Southern Conservation Tillage Systems Conference. The group discussed the need to increase participation and the need to involve younger scientists in the organizational activities. Potential linkages with other organizations and conferences were discussed, and the possibility of involving more disciplines. These additions will be reflected in the proposed project extension of SERA-IEG 20.

The 2005 meeting will be hosted by South Carolina or Texas, pending commitments for administrations in each state. This decision will be made by mid summer.
