Mission:
Region 2020 is a citizen-driven non profit that advocates regional cooperation in 12 counties in Central Alabama around issues such as transportation, arts and culture, the environment and housing. More than 5,000 citizens helped set the goals of strategies of the organization, which was formed in 1997. Region 2020 partners with others and works as a catalyst, convener and facilitator on regional issues.
