Purpose:
Monitoring operation of 1,500 tpd landfill sited over Tuscumbia Aquifer on Karst
terrain bordered by Dry Creek which discharges into Mallard Creek thence to
Tennessee River upstream from water treatment facility.
Specific Issues:
Organizing and attending classes for water testing in order to detect suspicious
stormwater runoff or leachate that may contain toxins.
