Mission:

Land Trust of East Alabama is a nonprofit, community based organization dedicated to the voluntary preservation, conservation and protection of the land and natural resources of east Alabama.

Specific Issues:

As a new organization we are currently focused on community awareness and the growth of our Board of Trustees.  We are educating citizens on land trusts and the preservation tools available to land trusts, specifically conservation easements.  Ultimately our preservation focus will be on our area's watersheds and greenspaces within our city limits.
