Mission or Purpose:

Our mission is to support the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge in its efforts to protect, preserve, and restore its diverse, natural, and historic resources in a manner that will enhance the educational and recreational aspects for the public.

Specific Issues:

Refuge and river cleanup, facilities and education projects on the refuge.

Saturday, April 11:
Renew Our Rivers Cleanup
Registration at 8 a.m.
Cleanup from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Hotdog lunch at 11:30 a.m.
Cleanup address: Piper Bridge, Co Rd 24, Bibb Co, AL - 5 miles from West Blocton.  Email us for more info.

Saturday, May 16:
Wild About Our Refuge Festival
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cahaba Heritage Park
Centreville, AL
Admission $1
Educate attendees about their Refuge and have fun along with it -- food, music, displays, etc. If anyone would like to be a vendor or one of the sponsors, email us at cahabafriends@gmail.com.
