Mission:
The mission of the Anniston Outdoor Association is to promote an awareness of our
local environment, to bring together outdoor enthusiasts with varied interest, and to
provide outdoor recreation and service opportunities for its members.
Specific Issues:
Pinhoti Trail - Maintenance of the existing trail and support for the northern extension
of the trail to Georgia and the southern extension to Florida. We also serve as an advocate
for the Chief Ladiga Trail, the Talladega National Forest, and the Little River Canyon
National Preserve.
