The ERS/USDA has provided a collection of several series of maps on a variety of agricultural topics, from which we take much for this site. All the maps can be found at the following URL, or by clicking on the first button (ERS/USDA Map Listing) from the set of five at left.

Where many particular crops are now grown in the US can be found under this ERS/USDA site. Here we provide links only to some of the most common crops, or to crops of most interest to Alabama agriculture. If you don't see a crop in which you are interested among the set at left, please visit the ERS/USDA site; probably there is a map for that crop, the crop is not grown in Alabama much anymore but is grown elsewhere in the US. It is worth visiting the site just to note the crops that are not grown much in Alabama anymore.
