Professional Activities:
Conduct basic and applied research that supports the development of soil management systems to increase plant available water and reduce the risks from short-term droughts in production systems common to the southeastern U.S. Research focuses primarily on rainfed systems, but systems integrating irrigation with conservation tillage systems are also targeted.
