Computing and Internet Requirements

In order to watch the videos and other media in Agronomy and Soils distance education courses, you will need the following:

• A computer with a minimum of 2 gigabytes of RAM, processor speed of 2.5 gigahertz or better, and adequate memory. 
  
  
• Broadband Internet service (DSL or equivalent) that delivers at least 3 Mbps and preferably more.  
  
  
• A video card that has dedicated memory (RAM) or a video card with at least 128MB RAM. (AGRN 5083/6086 contains several videos which will not play well without a good Internet connection and computer.)
