The Department of Agronomy and Soils offers distance education courses that may be taken individually or as part of a distance education graduate degree program. All courses are Web-based and course work may be done at any time during the semester.
Master of Science/Master of Agriculture in Agronomy & Soils
Thesis (M.S.) and non-thesis (M.Ag.) options
Choose between Soil Science option or Crop/Weed Science option
30 credit hours including Research and Thesis (M.S.) or Advanced Special Problems (M.Ag.) and Seminar
Masters of Soil, Water and Environmental Sciences (SWES) though the AG*IDEA distance education consortium (Master of Agriculture, Master of Science) (pending approval)
Thesis (M.S.) and non-thesis (M.Ag.) options
Must have at least one course in soil biology, soil chemistry, soil physics, pedology and hydrology, in addition to statistics and seminar
35 credit hours including Research and Thesis (M.S.) or Advanced Special Problems (M.Ag.) and Seminar
Master of Turfgrass Management (pending approval)
Master of Science (Non-Thesis)
32 credit hours
Requires Capstone Experience
