Ph.D, 2005, Utah State University (Civil & Environmental Engineering)
M.S, 2002, Utah State University (Civil and Environmental Engineering)
B. Tech, 2000, Sri Venkateswara University (Civil & Environmental Engineering)
Professional Experience:
2008: Assistant Professor, Auburn University
2006: Post-doctoral Scholar, University of California-Riverside
Professional Activities:
My research program focuses on water flow and contaminant transport in soils and ground water. Currently, we are working on a number of basic as well as applied research topics in soil physics.
Some of the basic research we are currently working on include soil hydraulic classification, field capacity estimation, influence of macropores on soil hydraulic behavior and development of pedo transfer functions.
We conduct applied research in to optimizing irrigation for turfgrass management and impact of contaminants (multiphase & single phase) such as NAPLs and pharmaceuticals on the envrionment.
Honors and Awards:
Recipient of INRA Fellowship for subsurface science graduate program from 2003-2005.
Professional Societies Membership:
Soil Science Society of America
American Geophysical Union
American Society of Civil Engineers
Courses:
AGRN 7590 Soil Physics
AGRN8580 Advanced Soil Physics
