International Programs
Students have many opportunities for international experience and education in the College of Agriculture. They can take courses, pursue travel or independent study or volunteer abroad.
Summer coursework for academic credit in Horticulture and Equine Science is available through summer programs at Myerscough College in England. Professors Jeff Sibley in Horticulture and Dale Coleman in Animal Sciences lead these programs in their respective departments.
The Stallworth AU International program provides an array of possibilities for students to organize independent experiences or study programs.
The Orr Foundation supports study-abroad and student trips for Horticulture students.
Study Tours provide short-term group travel experiences for students, faculty and alumni.
The York International Scholars Program supports internships and other individualized experiences for graduate students and as international activties for teaching, research and extension faculty in developing countries.
Auburn Abroad catalogs a diverse array of programs around the world and the staff helps students find situations that meet their needs.
Service Learning programs provide organized experiences for students who seek to combine volunteering with cultural encounter, language development and fun with other students.
