Grants and Loans
Federal aid includes
- Loans –Student loan programs provide long-term, low-interest loans for students.
- Grants – Undergraduate students pursuing their first degree are eligible for grants.
- Federal Work-Study – The federal work-study program provides students with part-time employment.
Forms and documents for financial aid are available on the Auburn University financial aid Web site. You’ll also find step-by-step instructions that can help you navigate the important paperwork qualifying you for financial aid.
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) can be completed online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. You must complete a new FAFSA each year beginning in January.
The priority deadline for aid application is March 1. Applications received after the priority deadline will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis if funds are still available.
