Ag Industry Day set for March 31, 2011.
Ag Industry Day is a fun-filled day showcasing the agriculture industry and the unlimited career opportunities available! This event coincides with Ag Week and is open to high school students from across Alabama and beyond.
Our program will begin with presentations by a current student, an alumnus, and Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin is an animal scientist who has written bestselling books about the human treatment of livestock, the connections between humans and animals, and her own struggles with autism. She is the focus of a 2010 Emmy-award winning HBO movie.
The speakers will be followed by lunch and an afternoon of interactive departmental and industry booths.
Space is limited and registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
