Graduation Breakfast and Presentation of Awards
On the morning of graduation, the College of Agriculture serves breakfast for the graduates, their families, and friends. The agenda usually includes a presentation of awards and Ag Alumni life memberships and the recognition of graduating students.

Outstanding students in the College of Agriculture are honored with four annual awards and one bi-annual award.

Outstanding Student from the College of Agriculture–awarded by the AU Student Government Association.

President's Award–based on leadership, citizenship, character, and the promise of professional ability.

Claude Hardee Memorial Award in Agriculture–recognizes and honors the outstanding senior student in the College of Agriculture; established by the Hardee family and the Alabama Cattlemen's Association.

Comer Award for Excellence in Agriculture Sciences–awarded to the outstanding senior student in agricultural science and made possible through an endowment from the Comer family.

Dean's Award for Academic and Professional Excellence– awarded to an outstanding College of Agriculture graduate each semester.
